The performance is exactly what I was looking for. Sure, there are better laptops out there but, if you want an AMD chipset this seems to be the best bang for your buck. I reviewed specs for hours and hours and I would have recommended this even before buying. After buying I am even more sold by the overall quality for the price. Downsides: It did not come with any discs(seems to be common these days with most manufacturers). No windows, no recovery, nothing. you are expected to take an image once you start up.(recovery image software provided) This takes 6 DVDs and about 3 hours of your time. I would rather an actual windows disc because I like to clean install by myself(without bloatware). 500gb drive comes partitioned(not my preference). track pad is too sensitive but in a bad way. It took about an hour but I was able to find settings I can live with. Overall, I rate 4 stars(I almost never rate 5 stars) and recommend... I just hit it for usd 479, he bought his i5 for usd 645 and can't play any latest games except solitaire..HahaI'm not a fan of AMD but I must say AMD A series rocks. And also it comes with a USB 3.0 port. I will recommend this laptop for all. Graphics is really good. With this kind of graphics an intel will cost at least usd 700 or sure.. |
